Combined Schools Pathway

In 2017, Rowing Australia will continue the selection process of a ‘first across the line’ selection of a state-based combined school eight to ideally compete at the World Junior Championships as the Australian Junior Eight.  This is aimed to increase integration of the national selection process into schools, and to provide a clear pathway for school students into the Australian Junior team. This selection processes has 3 main aims:

- Be open for all 2017 high school athletes across Queensland;

- Be transparent for all involved; and

- Select the best possible QLD combined schools eight (men and women) to compete at the national selection trials.
