Star Outdoor

Star Outdoor started in 2006 as a supplier of sun protection marquees for schools and sports clubs throughout Australia (known back then as Star Marquees).

Often schools and sports clubs wanted their marquees to be sign written, and as printing technology advanced we were able to deliver ever increasing levels of sophistication in the printing of graphics onto fabric. These new developments in our printing processes enabled us to increase our product range and customers. Now, as Star Outdoor, we are not just a portable shade company, but we also offer excellent outdoor promotion products.

As well as high quality, durable, easy-to-assemble marquees, we now supply banners (flying banners, pop-up banners, teardrop banners, feather banners and rope banners), table covers, café umbrellas, fence mesh, snap frames, A-frames and more.

Our basic philosophy is simple: We just want to make dealing with Star Outdoor and using our promotion and portable shade products…. EASY!

Queensland Government

The Department of Communities (Sport and Recreation Services) is responsible for developing and supporting opportunities for Queenslanders to participate in sport and recreation.

In 2007-08, more than $74 million was invested in Queensland communities to increase participation in sport and recreation through facility development and locally-based participation programs.

The Department recognises the contributions of its industry partners, such as Rowing Queensland, who are helping us to make Queenslanders Australia's healthiest people.

Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS)

The Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS) is an initiative of the Queensland Government aimed at supporting the State’s elite and identified developing athletes. Officially launched in May 1991, the Academy’s goal is to ensure that Queensland remains at the forefront of domestic and international sport.

To achieve this, the QAS provides assistance to Queensland’s talented athletes and coaches as they strive for excellence within their sport following a philosophy of being “athlete centred, coach driven and service supported”.
