National database, Revolutionise, transition on 1st January 2016
As you may already know, Rowing Australia has been working on a National database for rowing members over the past number of years. An agreement had recently been signed with Revolutionise, therefore from January 1st 2016, the online membership system will change from ROMS to Revolutionise for Queensland rowers. There are still some small operational matters to finalise around the system and RQ have had clubs testing the system for us. Ultimately what this system change means for members is 2016 membership will be done online and members will need to have paid their respective membership fee before being able to row in any regattas.
As we realise that this is a big change, Revolutionise will be hosting a workshop/seminar on the evening of Tuesday 1st December. This will be filmed and uploaded to the Rowing Queensland Website and YouTube for easy access by all the Queensland Rowing community. More information on this workshop will be posted soon.
